Azur Lane publisher Yostar is continuing to showcase new content coming to the popular shipgirl-focused mobile game.
Starting with the western servers, we’re getting two retrofits for Curlew and Curacoa.
This is more catching up as they were released in Japan and China back in June 2019.

We’re also getting a casual skin for Agano, on top of the confirmation of the series of New Year skins that were announced for Japan last week, starting with Taihou.

Moving on to the Japanese servers, Amazon is getting a retrofit. This one has not been confirmed for the west just yet.

It’s worth mentioning that while the skins for Ning Hai and Ping Hai will possibly get confirmed for the west over the next few days, since they are part of the same series as Taihou’s, Swiftsure’s skin will likely remain limited to Japan. The base shipgirl hasn’t been made available in the west just yet, unless Yostar decides to surprise us with a sudden release.
If you’re unfamiliar with Azur Lane, it’s is a free-to-play mobile horizontal scrolling shooter/RPG hybrid currently available for iOS and Android.
If you’d like to learn more about it, you can read our recent interview with Yostar’s director of operations.
If your interest leans more towards console and PC games, Azur Lane: Crosswave has already been released for for PS4 in Japan, and it’s coming to the west in February with a PC version on top. You should definitely read the interview we pubished a few days ago, in which Compile Heart President Norihisa Kochiwa talks in depth about the project.
